Many of the students at the New Blood Academy in Mae Sot, Thailand-- a school for Burmese Refugees--are orphans and live in residence. Those that live at the school work together to prepare meals. These girls are singing their English lessons while grinding hot Thai peppers in a stone mortar and pestle.
